Loveline is designed to minimize data collection and prioritize user privacy. We only collect information necessary to provide core features of the application.

Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:

a) Account Information

If you create an account:

• Name
• Email address
• Relationship-related dates (optional)
• Partner connection data (if pairing feature is used)

This information is used only to provide app functionality.

b) Memories and Content

Loveline allows users to create memories that may include:

• Photos
• Titles
• Descriptions
• Dates
• Locations (optional)

These memories are visible only to you and (if paired) your selected partner.

c) Location Data (Optional Permission)

Loveline may request access to your location only if you choose to add a place to a memory. Important details:

• Location access is completely optional
• The app does NOT track your location continuously
• The app does NOT store background location data
• Location is used only when adding a place manually

You can deny location access and still use the app normally.

d) Photos and Media Access

Loveline requests access to your photo library so you can:

• Upload memory photos
• Attach images to shared places

This permission is required only for selecting images. Users may also optionally grant Camera access. Camera permission allows taking photos directly inside the app but is not required. Users can always select images from their gallery instead.

We use collected information only to:

• Provide timeline and memory features
• Store relationship milestones
• Save shared locations
• Enable partner connection functionality
• Improve app stability and performance

We do not sell user data to third parties.

All uploaded photos are securely stored using Supabase infrastructure. Supabase provides encrypted storage, authenticated access control, and secure cloud architecture. Only authorized users (you and your connected partner) can access stored content.

share 4. Data Sharing

Loveline does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Data is shared only in the following situations:

• with your connected partner (if pairing is enabled)
• when required by law
• when necessary to maintain app functionality

person 5. User Control Over Data

You remain in control of your information at all times. You may:

• delete memories
• remove photos
• disconnect your partner
• revoke permissions (location, photos, camera)
• request account deletion

Deleting your account removes associated personal data from the system.

Loveline may request the following permissions:

• Location (optional): Used only to attach your current place to a memory.
• Photo Library (required for memory uploads): Used to select images for memories.
• Camera (optional): Used to capture photos directly inside the app.

All permissions can be disabled anytime from device settings.

We store your information only as long as necessary to provide app functionality. If you delete your account, associated memories, stored photos, relationship data, and connected partner data are permanently removed.

child_care 8. Children's Privacy

Loveline is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware that data from a child has been collected unintentionally, it will be deleted immediately.

security 9. Security Measures

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including secure authentication systems, encrypted storage infrastructure, restricted access controls, and Supabase cloud security protections. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

update 10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when necessary. Any updates will appear inside the app or on the policy webpage with a revised effective date. Continued use of Loveline after updates means you accept the revised policy.
