A. Screen Time & Family Controls Data (CRITICAL)
WordLock utilizes Apple's Screen Time API and Family Controls to provide its core functionality: locking distracting apps until you complete your language learning tasks.
- Strictly Local: We do NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any data regarding which apps you have installed, which apps you lock, or your screen time usage.
- All operations related to app locking happen strictly locally on your device in compliance with Apple's strict privacy guidelines.
B. Language Learning Progress
We store your learning progress, such as words learned, mistakes made, and current streaks. This data is stored locally on your device and may be synced securely if you create an account, solely for the purpose of maintaining your progress across devices.
C. Automatically Collected Information
We may collect standard, anonymous analytics data (such as app crash logs and basic usage statistics) to help us improve the app's performance and user experience. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

- RevenueCat: For managing premium subscriptions. RevenueCat does not receive your personal identity, only anonymous identifiers to validate purchases.
