1. How does WordLock actually work?
WordLock uses Apple's Screen Time technology to temporarily block access to your selected apps (like social media or games). To unlock them, you must complete a short, engaging language learning session. Once you pass, your apps are unlocked for the duration you set!
2. My apps aren't locking. What should I do?
If your selected apps are not locking, please check the following:
- Screen Time Permissions: Ensure you have granted WordLock permission to access Screen Time (Family Controls) in your iPhone Settings.
- Lock is Active: Open WordLock, go to the Home screen, and make sure the "Lock" toggle is turned on.
- Selected Apps: Go to Settings > Choose Apps and ensure you have selected at least one app or category to lock.
3. How do I change the language I'm learning?
You can easily change your target language or native language anytime. Simply go to Settings > Language Options and select your preferred languages. WordLock will automatically update your word decks and translations.
4. Do I need an internet connection to use WordLock?
Basic word learning and app locking work completely offline! However, some dynamic translations or pronunciation features may require a brief internet connection.
5. I purchased Premium but my features are still locked.
Don't worry! Go to the WordLock Settings screen and tap Restore Purchases. Ensure you are logged into the same Apple ID you used to make the purchase.
